A few updates to our servers and network

Recently we came in the position to acquire a 42U 7 foot tall server rack. It was without question that we had to have it.  Previous to the acquisition of the rack we were using a old 1980's stereo cabinet. As ghetto as that sounds (and believe me it was very ghetto) it suited our needs perfectly. Within 5 hours of arrival we had all the equipment fully operational and serving requests again. At this point the only rack mount equipment we have is the 3Com managed switches (gotta love e-bay) and the PDU which came with the rack.  At this point we are in the process of building a building a new server. With over $2500 invested in our server we hope this solution will last us for a while. For a backup server we have a nice little surprise coming soon as well ;-)
